Introduction to ADDCAAM:
- Slicing with ADDCAAM. Import your model, enable slicing with ADDCAAM and prepare.
- Infill and angle. Adjusting the angle can be done easily using the mouse, and with precision using the plugin window.
- Material overflow factor. The overflow factor helps reduce holes in the printed part caused by under-extrusion and can vary depending on the material.
- Interlace contours. Interlaced contours shift half of the contour lines, helping to make the part stronger.
- Interlock with infill. Interlock infill overlaps every other infill layer with the contours, helping to bind the contour and infill, which increases part strength.
- Interlace top/bottom. Interlace top/bottom shifts half of the lines in the top and bottom layers. It also uses concentric infill to close these layers instead of the standard linear infill.
- Expert mode. Expert mode allows you to combine profile settings with ADDCAAM features, enabling more precise adjustments that also can be saved to a custom profile.
